The quick answer
- No appointment is needed for an urgent care walk-in.
- A clinician assesses the problem before deciding whether tests, imaging or treatment are suitable.
- The clinic team guides you through registration when you arrive.
Knowing what to expect can make seeking same-day medical care feel more straightforward. When you arrive, our clinical team will assess your condition and determine what needs attention. Your doctor will then investigate, diagnose and treat your condition as needed. If further care is required, we can arrange specialist or physiotherapy referrals and establish an appropriate follow-up plan.

Your visit, step by step
1. Arrive and check in
Fast Track Urgent Care Redlands is at 24 Weippin Street, Cleveland. Clinic hours are 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. On arrival, our clinical team will assess your condition and how urgently you need care. Patients are seen according to clinical need, so those requiring more urgent attention may be seen first.

2. A clinician assesses the problem
Our clinical team will ask about your symptoms or injury, when they started, what has changed, and any relevant medications, allergies or medical history. Depending on your condition, they may examine the affected area, check your vital signs and ask further questions. This assessment helps determine what investigations or treatment you may need next.

3. Pathology and Imaging may be recommended
X-ray and CT are available through Queensland X-Ray, approximately 50 metres away. Your clinician will explain which imaging is appropriate. Confirm availability, appointments and any fees with the imaging provider. On-site pathology can collect blood samples, and some urgent tests can be performed during your visit.
Your clinician will discuss which tests, if any, are appropriate for your condition. Test availability may vary depending on the time of your visit and the investigation required.
*Confirm imaging fees and Medicare eligibility with Queensland X-Ray. Some pathology tests may be bulk billed for eligible patients, depending on the test and applicable Medicare requirements.
4. Receive clear next steps
Before you leave, your clinician will explain the next steps in your care. Depending on your condition, this may include treatment at the clinic, advice for recovery at home, follow-up care, or referral to a GP, physiotherapist or specialist. If your condition requires hospital-level care, we will advise you and help arrange appropriate escalation where necessary.
The right care pathway can only be determined after your condition has been clinically assessed.
